A Three Page Note
$80.00
$10.00 (additional score)
By Richard Zarou. A Three Page Note is a piece that recalls the original idea of the wind ensemble. The piece is scored in the direction of a chamber work where each instrument plays a part in creating the appropriate colors. This piece focuses on the coloristic groups and solo instruments found within the ensemble. Color is the main focus. The character of A Three Page Note is best described as an unwanted conversation. The piece is comprised of calming dissonances that wrap around a roaringly dissonant middle section. The piece holds back its anger until it explodes, then catches itself, as each member tries to leave respectively.
