Daniel Baldwin

Daniel Baldwin was born in 1978 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK and is currently the Band and Choir director at Deerfield (KS) High School and is, also, serving as the Theory and Composition professor at Southwest Kansas Music Academy through Garden City Community College.  Mr. Baldwin has benefited from studies with Max Ridgway and Eric Ewazen.

His music has been commissioned by performers from numerous respected symphonies, including the National Symphony Orchestra, Shreveport Symphony, Austin Symphony, Valdosta Symphony, Huntsville (AL) Symphony, Wichita Symphony, and Waco Symphony. His music has also been performed at universities and festivals throughout the U.S. including Wichita State University, Texas Tech University, University of Texas, Southern Illinois University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Baylor University, Society of Composer's Region VI conference, MidSouth Horn Conference, Big 12 Trombone Conference, Masterworks Festival, and the 2005 and 2006 International Double Reed Conferences. He has over a dozen works published and many more in the works. Mr. Baldwin is published exclusively by Imagine Music Publishing.
