This most solemn piece for band; is technically modest, within the range of any good high school band, and only four minutes long. It must be approached with the kind of meditative and soulful feeling that was employed in its creation. It is an American piece that is about a topic that touches all of us. Uses a unique, small ensemble instrumentation.
